History

Aniket Maroo established Maroo Advisory in 1995 as a professional accounting practice with the aim of providing a value added, high quality, responsive and personal service to its client base.

Over the years, it has come to be accepted as a committed advisory practice dealing exclusively with and for small and medium enterprises including all family businesses. This outcome is very much influenced both by Aniket’s training with blue chip international accountancy firms and by the firm’s client service culture.

Shannon Castensen joined the firm in 2001 as a young graduate accountant and became a Principal in 2011. His excellent interpersonal skills, taxation expertise and ability to convey complex information in easily understood formats were a natural fit.
